Jake is now 10 days old and he's doing very well, as is his mother. We're still getting sleep at night and have just about settled into a somewhat normal routine. I'll be adding some new pictures soon but I have to share this video of the little guy playing on his new playmat. He's not quite big enough to reach the fun hanging things, but he seems to have fun on it. His mama is talking to Yaya (Grandma Fox). Jake has also started to gain weight and is (as of Tuesday morning) 4.5oz above his birth weight. He's also starting to hold his head up himself so he's getting as much tummy time as he'll put up with. I'm already envisioning the frustration of a kid-proof house. The days of plugging things into walls willy-nilly without fear of damaging finger nails or small prying implements is over!
